Using flavoured cream cheese is quick, easy, and adds masses of flavour. For even more convenience I used the individual packs of Boursin herb and garlic cheese which would equate to about two tablespoons per chicken fillet.
4x 16g portions of herb and Garlic cream cheese or 4 x 2 tbs
4slices of Serrano ham
Herby Garlic Baked Chicken Directions
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C
1. Using the point of a sharp knife, cut a slit through the plump side of the chicken breast - you are creating a pocket, so be careful not to cut right through. Pack this with the herb and garlic cheese.
2. Wrap a slice of Serrano ham around each fillet, place on an oven tray and bake for 25 - 30 minutes until the centre of the chicken is properly cooked.
